I’ve worked in mental health and addiction services since 1986, qualifying as a mental health nurse in 1989. Over the years I’ve worked in many different settings and specialist services in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. I’ve had many years of nursing and clinical leadership roles and always love the opportunity to work with and grow teams.
I was first introduced to Pathways and the Wise Group when I participated in Blueprint’s Executive Leadership Programme. I came away with a much deeper respect, understanding and knowledge of the NGO sector, and recognised it was somewhere I wanted to work.
Pathways holds dear to me all that I value as a person and clinician. I’ve been able to utilise my nursing expertise and leadership experience every day, with an absolute focus on the very best outcomes for tāngata whai ora, whānau and the communities we support.
I am married with three wonderful adult children and I’m a very proud grandmother. I’m an active Rotarian, I enjoy time with family and friends, I love reading a good book and have been developing my horse-riding skills for the past 2 years!
